  • Executive Director, Kelsey Samuels
    Executive Director, Kelsey Samuels

    Kelsey Samuels has been serving with Community Crisis Center since 2016 and our Executive Director since 2018. She has a Bachelor of Arts in International and Community Development from Oral Roberts University and a Master of Public Administration from Arkansas State University. She was a NextGen 30 Under 30 Award Recipient and a 2023 Allstate Executive Leadership Program participant. She brings over 12 years of nonprofit management to our organization and has been recognized locally, statewide and nationally for her nonprofit leadership and experience. She currently chairs the END VIOLENCE Oklahoma Legislative Committee and Office of Attorney General Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Advisory Committee.

    Kelsey is committed to growing and developing programs related to stalking, domestic violence and sexual assault crisis response and prevention for all survivors in NE Oklahoma's Craig, Ottawa and Delaware Counties. CCC has added a Grove office, remodeled and increased bed capacity at shelter, and added new programs and personnel under her direction. She oversees a staff of 24 advocate and administrative professionals and is honored to serve the needs of up to 800 survivors and their children each year. When asked why she wants to work with CCC she said, 'In college I read a Bob Goff quote that changed how I viewed my time in the workforce. He said, 'I used to want to make enough money. Now I just want to make enough difference."

  • Rosie The Rabbit
    Rosie The Rabbit

    Rosie the Rabbit has been a cherished member of our shelter team since May 2024. As our Emotional Support Animal, Rosie provides comfort and companionship to survivors and their children, helping create a nurturing environment for healing and recovery. Her presence brings peace and reassurance to those in need, offering a safe space for everyone at our shelter.
